We listen to each athlete’s individual needs and design a training programme specific to them and their lifestyle. Our programmes have been tested by recreational, elite, professional and Olympic and Paralympic level athletes...so you know you're in good hands.

If you aren’t assessing, you’re guessing. Our Performance Testing protocol lets us analyse every aspect of your athletic profile, so we can highlight strengths and identify performance limitations, to ensure each programme remains as specific to you athlete as possible.

Our Online Athlete Programme takes advantage of the latest technology available to offer in-person attention to detail and analysis, in a remotely delivered programme, to continuously monitor performance and pinpoint areas of opportunity.

FAQs
  • Why do you require a 6-month minimum commitment on these programmes?
    Because athletic development is a process and achieving real results takes time. We don't prescribe to overnight successes or quick fitness transformations, we want to work with you to get the best results possible. We also like to attract and incentivise athletes who are truly committed to the process, and we believe we would be selling both you (the athlete), and ourselves short if we prescribed to anything less.
  • Is my programme individualised for me?
    Yes, each athlete who joins the Online Athlete Programme receives their own fully customised training programme. No two athletes are the same, therefore no two programmes should be the same either.
  • How do I sign up for the Online Athlete Programme?
    To sign up for the Online Athlete Programme, simply fill in the contact form and await our response via email. Once you submit our contact form we will be notified of your submission and will follow up and begin the onboarding process.
  • How much training experience do I need to apply for the Online Athlete Programme?
    Whilst it is possible to get great results without having any prior resistance training experience, it is recommended that a training age of at least 6 months is obtained before entering the Online Athlete Programme. If you do not have this, it is not a deal breaker, but it is recommended you enter the Elite Online Athlete Programme or the Performance Programme, both of which include far more coach contact and a higher level of communication than the Online Athlete Programme.
  • How is the Online Athlete Programme delivered?
    The Online Athlete Programme will be delivered to a coaching app compatible with both iOS and Android.
  • Do I need a gym membership to join the Online Athlete Programme?
    Not necessarily. Seeing as each athlete is provided with a fully individualised programme it is possible to train from home with minimal equipment, as we design the programme around each athlete's own individual circumstances. With that being said, in order to maximise the results of the programme having access to a functional gym or a very well-equipped home gym set up is recommended.
  • How long do I have to complete the programme?
    The Online Athlete Programme/s require a 6-month minimum commitment (24 weeks), which is broken down into 6 x 4-week blocks of training throughout the programme. Upon completion of the final block of training (and, if you choose not to continue working with us), you will have optional access to your completed programme and training account for an additional week. You therefore have 24 weeks PLUS one additional week of optional access to your programme and training profile.
  • What happens when I finish the Online Athlete Programme?
    Once you complete the programme, your training account and profile will remain active for one additional week from the date of completion, after which it will be archived and you will no longer have access to it. If you enjoyed working with Momentum Training the option to retain your profile and begin a new training programme is available, as well as the option to transfer onto one of our other performance programmes.
  • What happens if I get injured and can no longer complete the programme?
    Being injured does not mean we stop training, it simply means we shift our focus towards what we CAN do vs. what we CAN'T do. In this instance, we would modify the programme to reflect your injury status and continue training. With that said, some significant injuries can lead to periods of time where complete rest and specialised treatment are mandatory, and in the worst case example, surgery. In these extreme cases, the severity of each issue will be assessed on a case by case basis and the option to pause the programme will be discussed. Aside from these extreme cases, as previously mentioned, we would aim to modify your programme to allow for continuity and to work towards getting you back to your best as quickly and safely as possible. Modification options/timelines vary between programmes. Joining the Online Athlete Programme allows for programme revisions every 4-weeks, and the Elite Online Athlete Programme allows for unlimited programme revisions throughout. Which can prove to be a better option for those who are more prone to experiencing injury, or want a little more flexibility around their programming.
  • Can I pause my programme if I go away?
    Absolutely, we provide up to 4 weeks per programme (24 weeks), at no additional cost. This accounts for travel, holidays, work commitments etc.
  • Can I share my programme with friends?
    No, each programme purchased is for individual use only. Anyone found to be sharing programmes or training accounts with others will have their programme cancelled and their training profile deleted.
