About Momentum Training
WHY MOMENTUM TRAINING WORKS.
We take the guesswork out of your training, so you can focus only on what really matters.
OUR TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
PRINCIPLE DRIVEN, ASSESSMENT GUIDED, ADAPTATION LED...
At Momentum Training, our primary goal is to support athletes towards feeling and performing at their best. We believe that an athlete deserves a service that is as committed to their success as they are, and that goes above and beyond to ensure that no stone goes unturned.

To achieve this, and to ensure consistency of outcome for each of our athletes, we align our practice in accordance with the following CORE principles:

1) Person First, Athlete Second
Trust and buy-in are the foundations for effective coaching and a successful training outcome. At Momentum Training, we prioritise building relationships with our athletes by meeting them where they are, and showing genuine care for them as individuals first. As the saying goes, "People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care." When athletes trust and feel valued beyond their performance, they are more likely to achieve their best. By focusing on building authentic connections, we create a foundation for long-term success and meaningful progress in and out of the gym.

2) Individualised Approach
Every athlete is unique, therefore each training block and phase of rehabilitation (and each progression through it), needs to be customised to each individual athlete to ensure training addresses their SPECIFIC strengths, goals and developmental needs. We achieve this at Momentum Training by employing an assessment guided approach to our programming and rehabilitation, to optimise goal setting and programme decision making.

3) Sustainable Progression
Long-term success is characterised by the ability to be consistent...ATTENDANCE > ADHERENCE > ADAPTATION. Our training programmes focus on creating repeatable and sustainable habits that lead to continuous improvement over time. By prioritising gradual, sustainable progress and recovery through well planned programming, we help athletes develop habits that support long-term health, performance, and resilience.

4) Evidence-Based Practices
In the world of elite performance, long term athletic development and a safe return to sport after injury, it is crucial training interventions are grounded by scientific research. We base our programming on proven, evidence-based methods to ensure we offer the highest level of service to our athletes, so we can assess what is important, and programme what matters.

At Momentum Training, we are committed to providing a comprehensive, evidence-based approach that ensures each athlete achieves their full potential, all while maintaining a positive and engaging environment.
